A Simple Guide to Dental Insurance and Payment Options

When dental treatment is recommended, it is natural to have questions about cost, insurance coverage, and payment options. At Kennestone Dental Designs, we believe financial clarity is an important part of patient care.

Our goal is to help you understand your options before treatment begins, so you can make decisions with confidence and peace of mind.

How Dental Insurance Works

Dental insurance can be helpful, but every plan is different. Coverage, annual maximums, exclusions, co-payments, and effective dates can vary depending on your policy.

As a courtesy to our patients, our team is happy to assist with insurance paperwork and submit claims on your behalf. While we can estimate your coverage in good faith, insurance companies determine final benefits and payments.

That is why we always encourage patients to understand their plan details and ask questions before moving forward with care.rall.

Payment and Financing Options

At Kennestone Dental Designs, we accept several payment options, including cash, checks, credit cards, and debit cards.

For patients who prefer to spread treatment costs over time, financing options are also available through CareCredit and LendingClub. These options may help make larger or multi-step treatment plans more manageable with monthly payments.

We also offer select savings options, including a cash or check discount for treatment paid in full at the time of service without insurance, as well as a senior discount for patients 65 or older without dental insurance.

Planning Ahead Can Help

Planning ahead is one of the best ways to feel more comfortable about dental care. If your treatment involves multiple steps, starting early can give you more flexibility with scheduling, insurance benefits, and payment planning.

Our team can help review your estimated benefits, discuss available payment options, and answer questions before treatment begins.
